It's been a long time coming, but now the podcast that you grew to love is back! Kinda. There's been a change in personnel, a change of name, and hopefully soon there may also be a change of website (who knows what the future may bring…), but it's still the quality entertainment that you expect from this humble nerd and his friends.
Without further ado, I give to you the first episode of the new Podcast: Geek Out/Nerd Rage!
Will: I tend to agree with you about the assumption that we're being watched and that people ought to keep their private lives private. But that may turn out to be harder than it used to be. A few generations back, a common warning was, "Never put anything in writing that you wouldn't want to see on the front page of the Times." I guess that now extends to, "Never let anything onto the Web that you wouldn't want your boss/mother/squeeze/landlord/worst enemy to know."
ReplyDeleteAll: Google's apparently random acquisition of smaller firms is really likely to be a portfolio approach, where they believe that some will turn out to be winners - they just don't know which ones.
Also, why not have a platform that goes all the way back to smoothed out text games?
